How customer supplied files, routine support, and proof approval support smooth production.
How customer supplied files, routine support, and proof approval support smooth production.
Customers may provide artwork and production files for a job. WD Labels works with those files as part of the manufacturing process and can provide practical production prep support where the job is under active manufacturing.
Routine support usually includes practical prep work needed for the project, such as:
This support is included when WD Labels is manufacturing the labels.
New branding, logo creation, major redesign, or complex creative work may require separate scope discussion. We are happy to discuss if those services are needed.
Where applicable, a proof is prepared before production for customer review. Proofing is a practical checkpoint, and approval confirms that the supplied specification and content should move into production.
When you review a proof, please confirm:
Production proceeds once information is approved and specifications are confirmed. If there are outstanding questions, we can review a revision before the order is released.
Screen and proof colours can differ from final print due to device profile, substrate, ink process, viewing light and application conditions. Exact appearance should be reviewed in context before production sign-off.
Customers remain responsible for the accuracy of numbers and data used in barcodes, QR codes and variable fields unless a validation service is specifically agreed. WD Labels can support formatting and setup to reduce avoidable rework.
Customers retain responsibility for the rights in the artwork and content they provide, including legal claims related to that content.
WD Labels may retain production and prepress files as part of normal job records. The presence of these records is for project continuity and service support.
These terms do not transfer editable source files or broader rights to customer-supplied content unless a separate written agreement says so.
