Reprint & Quality Policy

Our practical issue-resolution approach when labels do not meet expected manufacturing quality.

Contact us first

If you notice a production issue, contact WD Labels promptly with:

  • order or job reference
  • description of the issue
  • photos where helpful
  • quantity affected

How we review

WD Labels reviews each issue with the approved proof, supplied files, records and production details. We also ask for samples or photos where appropriate for physical matters.

We focus on whether the production output aligns with the approved specification.

When labels are our manufacturing error

If labels materially differ from the approved specification and the difference is related to a WD Labels manufacturing mistake, WD Labels will work to correct the issue. This can include reprinting affected labels where the practical circumstances and scope support it.

The goal is to do the right thing and repair a mistake as fairly as possible.

When approved content contains a mistake

If final production matches the approved proof and the issue is in the provided content itself, we may treat this differently because the labels were produced to the approved specification.

Even in this case, WD Labels will still work with the customer on practical next steps, including options where feasible.

Colour and material expectations

Material and process differences can create reasonable visual variation. We do not define numeric tolerance guarantees or absolute colour matching promises in this policy.

We review colour and material expectation differences in context of the approved proof and production method.

Transit damage

Shipping damage is investigated with the same practical process. Customers should report damage or discrepancies promptly so we can review timing, packaging and carrier handling records.

Change-of-mind situations

Custom-manufactured labels are made for a specific product and purpose. For this reason, ordinary change-of-mind returns may not be suitable once production has begun.

Timely communication before approval or before production start helps reduce avoidable rework.
