Terms of Use & Sale
Clear practical terms for quote requests, artwork, proof approval and production at WD Labels.
Clear practical terms for quote requests, artwork, proof approval and production at WD Labels.
All quotations are prepared using information submitted with your enquiry, and are based on those specifications, materials and quantities. Quotes may change if key requirements change, such as size, material, finishing details, data complexity or version counts.
Where applicable, taxes, shipping and approved add-on costs are quoted based on the project scope and selected service path.
Production proceeds after the project specifications, artwork direction and commercial terms are agreed. WD Labels may start manufacturing only once the requested content and requirements are confirmed and approval has moved into production stage.
If requested information is incomplete, WD Labels may pause preparation until the missing items are confirmed.
Most labels are custom-manufactured to your project requirements. Because of this, ordinary change-of-mind returns are not always practical once production has started.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be legally excluded.
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of supplied copy, graphics, legal claims and compliance-related statements, and for confirming the correctness of logos, trademarks and product information they provide.
WD Labels can assist with production preparation and checking, but WD Labels is not acting as legal or regulatory counsel for claims, labelling standards, or statutory compliance unless explicitly agreed.
Proofing is an essential checkpoint before production. Production should proceed based on approval of the proof and project specification. Customers are encouraged to confirm artwork, dimensions and wording carefully before confirming approval.

For variable data projects, customers are responsible for the underlying data accuracy. WD Labels can assist with formatting and production checks where requested, while final ownership and correctness of data remains the customer’s responsibility unless a separate validation service is expressly arranged.
WD Labels can provide practical support for label-side setup and implementation. WD Labels is not GS1.
WD Labels does not issue GS1 company prefixes, GTIN ownership or GS1 licensing. Any required GS1 membership, licensing or subscription costs are handled directly between customer and GS1.
Typical production timing is 3 business days after proof approval and specification confirmation. This is a typical timing guide, not a universal guarantee.
Tooling, new materials, project complexity, version count, and special preparation requirements can affect timing.
If a new physical die is required for the approved construction, the actual tooling cost may be charged. WD Labels does not add profit markup to the die itself.
Routine artwork and prepress support (including sizing adjustments, minor formatting, and production prep support) is typically included when WD Labels is manufacturing the labels.
Major creative, branding, logo development, or substantial redesign work may require separate scope discussion and can be quoted separately.
Projects can include multiple SKUs and versions. Practical setup and review steps are handled programmatically in context, but additional charges can apply where complexity requires meaningful operational work.
These terms are intended to be practical and cooperative. They are not intended to remove any mandatory protections under applicable law.
Governing law is expected to be British Columbia, Canada, subject to applicable mandatory rights.
